Object
To revise the present calendar so that it meets more adequately the needs and requirements of our modern life.It advocates the world calendar which, in its ordered arrangement, retains the 12 months and upholds the astronomical year of 365 and 366 days. It divides the year into quarters of 91 days, 13 weeks or 3 months, giving to the first month 31 days and to the remaining two months 30 days each. The intercalary day (365th) is placed on an extra Saturday, follows December 30th, and is called Year-End Day (Silvestre) December 31st, or Y. It is suggested this day be observed as a day of fellowship. The other intercalary day, (366th day in Leap Year) is also placed on an extra Saturday, follows June 30th,, and is called Leap-Year Day (bissextil) June 31st or L. It is suggested these days be observed as international holidays. Every year begins with Sunday, January 1st.
