Object
1. Generally, to encourage travel, and to improve travelling facilities. 2. To furnish all conveniences to foreigners
travelling in Japan. 3. To induce foreign tourists to come to Japan.
Activities
1. To improve services and promote business contacts in co-operation with railway, steamship, and other organizations engaged in transportation, and hotels and business firms in direct contact with tourists. 2. To present information on Japanese natural scenery and things Japanese to foreign countries, and to provide various necessary travelling facilities and information to Japanese and foreign travellers. 3. To do various other necessary works in
order to carry out the object of the Bureau.
