Object
To contribute to national prosperity and public welfare by the promotion of schientific research and its application, the furtherance of culture, the development of industry, and to provide effective means of national defence.
Activities
1. To make various investigations relating to research. 2. To assist study of science and its application. 3. To assist the training of promising research workers. 3. To assist the training of promising research workers. 4. To encourage and assist joint research. 5. To investigate the condition of research on important problems and devise means for their solution and execution. 6. To encourage and assist the industrialization of investigations and new ideas. 7. To grant subsidies for expenses of scientific expeditions. 8. To publish scientific papers or grant subsidies for publication expenses. 9. To conduct experiments in connection with research, industrialization, and others, whenever necessary. 10. To carry on other works judged necessary by the Board of Directors.
