Object

HB 1936: Etudier le monde juif sous ses divers aspects; élaborer des méthodes prudentes ainsi qu'un programme pratique et détaillé; coordonner l'activité des missions parmi les Juifs dans le monde entier; encourager la production et la diffusion d'ouvrages à l'usage des Juifs, répondant aux exigences actuelles, et à l'usage des chrétiens, soulignant la responsabilité de ceux-ci à l'égard des Juifs. HB 1938: To study the various aspects of the Jewish world; to work out judicious methods and a detailed and practical programme; to co-ordinate the activities of missions to the Jews throughout the world; to promote the production and dissemination of works for the use of Jews, in accordance with present requirements, and for the use of Christians, emphasising their responsibility towards the Jews.

HB 1936: Le Comité est nommé par le Comité du Conseil international des Missions et constitue une section de ce Conseil, Le Comité comprend trois subdivisions, l'une pour l'Europe continentale, l'autre pour le Royaume-Uni et la troisième pour l'Amérique du Nord. HB 1938: The Committee is appointed by the Committee of the International Missionary Council and forms one section of this Council. The Committee has three subdivisions, one for continental Europe, one for the United Kingdom and one for North America.
