To create an international union of sanatoria and nursing homes; to promote and defend their scientific, economic and organisation interests; to hold Congresses and organise courses of development, study tours, exhibitions, etc.

General facts
The creation of an International Union was decided upon at the first International Congress of the Syndicates of Sanatoria and Private Nursing Homes held in September 1936 at Budapest. For this purpose, the Congress elected a Provisional Committee.
