To deal with and to facilitate, in the public interest, the study and solution of all problems relating to sanitary technique and town hygiene. To this effect, to organise international congresses, to arrange their programmes, also to organise special conferences and exhibitions, to encourage professional literature and to cany on propaganda in the Press.
General facts
Prior to the constitution of the International Permanent Delegation of Sanitary Technique and Town Hygiene, work was carried on by an International Executive Committee which was formed in 1930 at the First International Congress of Sanitary Technique and Town Hygiene at Prague.
