General facts

Réunions tenues à Zurich (1903-1907, 1911), Berlin (1913) et Paris (1921). La prochaine réunion se tiendra en Amérique en 1924. A la dernière réunion, des Commissions furent nommées pour étudier les sujets suivants : 1° Photométrie Heterochromatique ; 2° Définitions et symboles ; 3° Éclairage dans les fabriques et les écoles ; 4° Eclairage pour l'automobile. On a aussi défini l'Unité internationale de la « bougie » et on a adopté les définitions internationales de trois quantités photométriques fondamentales, à savoir : flux lumineux, intensité lumineuse et éclairage.
