General facts
In 1926, the French National Union of Teachers expressed a desire to combine the principal teachers' associations in all countries for two purposes - educational collaboration and co-operation for international peace. In 1926, provisional rules were adopted. A third meeting, held in London in 1927, passed the final constitution of the Federation. The first congress was held at Berlin in 1928.
(HB 1929)
(HB 1936)
